Guest Speaker: Teddy Moritz

Teddy is a cornerstone of New Jersey falconry, with decades of experience dedicated to advancing the sport through education, conservation, and hands-on work with birds of prey. From her early days at the Turtle Back Zoo and the NJ Division of Fish, Game & Wildlife to co-founding the New Jersey Raptor Association with her husband Carl, Teddy has been instrumental in legalizing and promoting falconry in the state.

Her lifelong commitment to falconry, raptor rehabilitation, dachshund breeding, and hunting has shaped generations of falconers. Today, she remains a guiding force and an inspiration within the falconry community!
